About Us

Overview: The Refuge Student Ministries
God has divinely authored each one of our lives and fabricated us to bring Him much glory. He tells a story of who He is and what He is doing in a lost and dying world through the story of our lives, individually as well as corporately. We believe that Jesus LOVES to work in the lives of young people and LOVES to show Himself off through them being obedient to His calling on their life.

We simply want our students to catch a glimpse of who Jesus is and fall in love with Him and allow Him to impact all areas of their lives.

Our goals and how we go about youth ministry.
At The Refuge it is our goal for all students to know Jesus and make Him known. We base this truth off of the words found in Matthew 22:37. In this passage of scripture the Pharisees ask Jesus what is the greatest commandment in the law, and Jesus says something profound that has an eternal impact for all believers throughout the world. He says, “You shall love the Lord with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And the second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” Simply put, know Jesus and make Him known. It is our passion as a student ministry to instill in our students a love for Jesus and a love for people. We strive to do this through the preaching of God’s word, biblical discipleship, and creating a space for students to partake in ministry.

We pray and are working diligently to present Jesus to students that would bring Him the most glory. We have many goals in our ministry, but our core goals are that every student that walks through the doors of our ministry would hear the Gospel, be challenged by the Gospel, and respond to the Gospel. We want our students to own their own faith and know what they believe and why they believe it.
